We are responsible for the grass cuing on Council owned land within the District and numerous areas of dedicated open space which we have adopted. Our grounds maintenance service is contracted out to a private company who should ensure that the grass on these sites should not exceed 60mm in height before being cut. Grass cuings are not removed from these sites, as the frequency should ensure that the grass is never left too long so as to cause it to look unsightly.
